Just something I whipped up whilst attempting to write my story for literature, needless to say that I didn't get any of my story written. This is all rather pointless, and may not even make sense at times, but hey, majority of thibgs that come out of my mind don't. I just want to note that I haven't gone over this, so there may be errors. Also, let me know what you think on the matter, I'm always up for hearing other peoples' opinions.

Life is never simple. There are always little complications that pop up just when you think all is going to be swell, and worse, they pop up at the worst times to mess with you even more. Why does this happen? People ask these questions on a daily basis, hoping against hope that they will get an answer, but to no avail.

So why does all of this happen? Some claim there is a higher power of some sort; God, Buddha, The Olympians, whoever you want to believe in. Well if this is true, then why are people suffering? Why do people die from diseases and get murdered when they are good citizens? Why do young children suffer? Why are teenagers and adults ending their lives because they just can’t handle it anymore? My opinion is that there is nothing ‘up there’ or where ever they claim to be. If there was, innocent people wouldn’t be hurting and people in general wouldn’t be resorting to such drastic measures to make continue their lives. There wouldn’t be wars, that’s for sure.

I, for one, don’t see how people can believe in any of it. Sure, I understand that it may feel good to believe there is someone watching out for you. I mean, I used to go to Girls Brigade, I used to discuss this sort of thing on a weekly basis. But now, I just can’t bring myself to believe any of it.
